Day 1 kicked off with excitement as the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, in collaboration Philippine Society of Information Technology Students – USM, USMart TBI: A DOST-funded Technology Business Incubator, USM ICTO, DCLIS, Openxai, and Base Philippines hosted its first-ever blockchain learning session through Based Learn.
Students explored the foundations of blockchain and Base Layer 2, discovering how these technologies power digital trust, ownership, and collaboration. The session opened new perspectives on how Base is shaping an open and scalable space for the next wave of builders.
